The Knights of Columbus is a Catholic men’s fraternal benefit society that was formed in 1882 to render financial aid to members and their families. Mutual aid and assistance are offered to the sick, disabled and needy whose members have contributed time and energy world-wide to service in many communities. Social and intellectual fellowship is promoted s through educational, charitable, religious, social welfare works of charity by its 1.8 million members. Members of our council contribute time and energy to raise funds for organizations, e.g., Obria Medical Center, Mary’s Shelter, St. Vincent de Paul, Catholic Charities, Columbian Foundation for people with intellectual disabilities, American Wheelchair Mission, Scholarships for Seminarians, St. Thomas More seniors, and to assist the less fortunate and disabled throughout Orange County. Thanks to your generosity, our council has donated more than $400,000 to these and other organizations, including St. Thomas More Parish to serve those in need in our community
